There must be a holy desire
in living out God’s word
through examples set in the home
out where one is observed

because the Lord has given us
His word for living truth
there are no other substitutes
which man can justly use

for by these truths man lives in grace
where God will always help
a humble servant in His care
lives better than to self

since Jesus came to give us life
one must decide to choose
if one should live somewhat to self
which many often do
____
or forsaking all just for Christ
there are the few who come
giving themselves entirely over
for what Christ has begun
____
and that is a new work in you
molding and shaping minds
conforming one as like Himself
the right path one shall find

to righteous living we are called
reaching the world for Christ
with holiness observed throughout
that one may see God’s light
